Salesian Presence at Rise Up Conference

(Etobicoke, ON – January 18) – The Rise Up Conference, founded and animated by Catholic Christian Outreach, is one of Canada's largest young adult gatherings. Br. Reegan Ledet and I were privileged to attend Rise Up 2023, which was held in Ottawa, the nation's capital. It was a good opportunity for us to meet clergy, religious, and young adults from across the country.

In collaboration with the Salesian Sisters, we spread awareness of the Salesian charism and invited many young adults to consider following Jesus in the style of Sts. John Bosco and Mary Mazzarello. Many who visited our Salesian booth expressed interest in a lay missionary experience as a means of service to the young and further vocational discernment.

Participating in Rise Up was a great way to conclude 2023 and ring in the new year!
