Marrero: Victory for Shaw Eagles

(Marrero, LA – November 29) – Last weekend, the Shaw Eagles football team won a 20-13 victory over the JFK Cougars at the Pan-American Stadium. Eagles fans packed the stands while Archbishop Shaw boys played a fantastic evening of football.

The Shaw family is proud of their boys, who prove that hard work and dedication pay off. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support this amazing team. Special thanks to the coaches, trainers, and others who make Friday night games possible.

In a special way, the Shaw family remembers Mr. Donald F. "Truck" Hymel ’81, who recently passed away. Truck was a true Shaw Eagles fan, and the team honored his memory by placing his nickname on their helmets. Please pray for the repose of his soul and all of our faithful departed.
