Ministries 2018

(Jerusalem – May 16) – On Ascension Thursday, May 10, seventeen Salesian students of theology at the Studium Theologicum Salesianum received the ministries of acolyte and lector, including four from the New Rochelle Province. Bishop Giacinto-Boulos Marcuzzo, auxiliary bishop of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, presided at the Mass and conferral of ministries. Eight were instituted as acolytes, including Bro. John Langan. Nine became lectors, including Bros. Craig Spence, Steve DeMaio, and Lenny Carlino.

These 17 confreres come from 11 Salesian provinces and 12 countries, a testimony to the worldwide internationality of the Jerusalem theologate.
