Harvey: Celebrating Easter Joy

Harvey: Easter Joy

By Fr. Mark Hyde, SDB

(Harvey, LA – April 17) – At the celebration of the Easter Vigil at St. Rosalie Parish, the parishioners witnessed very happy moments when three Archbishop Shaw High School students received the Sacraments of Initiation. One adult also made his profession of faith in the Catholic Church, was confirmed, and made his First Holy Communion, while another adult made her First Holy Communion. Another three adults will receive the sacrament of Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday through the imposition of the hands of Archbishop Gregory Aymond.

On Thursday, May 23, thirty-three young people (high school juniors and seniors and one college student) from St. Rosalie, St. John Bosco, St. Martha, and Immaculate Conception parishes will receive the sacrament of Confirmation at St. John Bosco Church.
