THE GLORIOUS MYSTERIES FOR VOCATIONS

The Glorious Mysteries

For the Salesian Family

1. The Resurrection
“Why do you seek the living one among the dead?” (Luke 24:5)

That the victory of the Risen Christ deepens in us Don Bosco’s conviction: “Da mihi animas, cetera tolle”

2. The Ascension

“Behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)
That Christ continues to transform us to be the sacrament of God’s presence to young people

3. The Coming of the Holy Spirit

“When the time for Pentecost was fulfilled, they were all in one place together. And they were all filled with the holy Spirit” (Acts 2:1,4a)

That with the young and their families we might encounter the presence of Christ in our lives, and we might accompany them in their human and Christian growth, and in their vocational discernment

4. The Assumption of Mary

“Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35)

For an increase of vocations to the Salesian Family who was brought into being through Mary’s motherly intervention

5. The Coronation of Mary

“Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you” (Luke 1:28)

That the Salesian Family, with the help of Mary, our Mother and Teacher, continues the mission that God gave to Don Bosco – the evangelization and education of young people
