"Basically, the senior confrere brings the gifts of pastoral experience and long standing community relationships to the life of the pastoral and religious community. Without the burden of administrative responsibilities, the senior confrere has the opportunity to be present to the Salesian Family educative community in a spirit of affirmation, enrichment, deepening, and freedom. With the benefit of knowledge and experience, the senior confrere can come to recognize and share the foundational truths, virtues, and practices that are at the root of our lives as consecrated religious within Don Bosco’s Salesian Family."
