Salesian Family Hike

Salesian Family Hike

By Fr. Steve DeMaio, SDB, Assistant Vocations Director - Young Adult Ministry

(New Rochelle, NY – June 27) – This past Saturday, June 25, some of us took the opportunity to go for a hike in New Jersey in spite of the very hot temperature. It was a beautiful moment to be together as a Salesian Family. We had Mass together on top of the mountain and then shared some pizza at the end of the day at Don Bosco Prep. There was representation from five different Salesian schools: Immaculata La Salle, St. Petersburg Catholic, Don Bosco Prep, Salesian High School, and Mary Help of Christians Academy. It was a good moment of recognizing the beauty of belonging to the Salesian Family. We hope to continue to foster moments like this in each of our local works.
