(Ramsey, NJ – August 9) – Don Bosco Prep’s youth ministry department just wrapped up two full weeks of its B.E.S.T. (Brothers Eagerly Serving Together) Program. Two groups each spent a week of service, prayer, activities, and brotherhood at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ; Marian Shrine in Stony Point, NY; St. John Bosco Parish and Don Bosco Center in Port Chester, NY; and Salesian High School in New Rochelle, NY. Ironmen lent their hands and gave their time on several projects such as cleaning up the Don Bosco Prep campus, refilling the food pantry and serving at the Don Bosco Center’s soup kitchen, playing with campers at Camp Don Bosco at Salesian High School, and grounds clean-up at the Marian Shrine.

Additionally, the boys made sandwiches and care bags and then delivered to the homeless in Manhattan on the Friday night midnight runs. They also participated in some fun activities during the week, including team building, bowling, a swim party, and arcade fun, and enjoyed Mass and dinner with the Salesians.

Thank you to Fr. Manny, Br. Travis, Anthony Falco, and Fr. Sasika for being such spiritual and fun role models for our students!
