(East Boston, MA – January 10) – During the week after Christmas and the winter and spring breaks, the Salesian Boys & Girls Club offers a vacation camp that includes various activities.
The vacation camp assists working parents who need a place to put their youngsters during their time off from school. Each day begins with breakfast, either cereal, pancakes, homemade donuts, sausage, or bagels. The staff provides youngsters with games, gym activities, and various competitions for prizes in the morning. The club provides lunch every day and snacks. Over the course of the week, the youngsters could go on a field trip, either bowling, going to video arcades, or going to the movies. This year, some of the youngsters went to an art studio and created their own works of art, assisted by art students.
This January, our entire focus will be on Don Bosco. Stay tuned for updates on our various Don Bosco activities and competitions!
