(Stony Point, NY – January 24) – The Marian Shrine celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2023, and the curtain has risen on a new era in 2024. From Saturday, February 3, through Sunday, February 4, the Shrine will launch an exciting new chapter that will begin with talented young adults sharing their gifts of music and art. On Saturday night, the “Rising Stars Celebrating Mary” concert will take place at 7:00 p.m. EST in the Shrine church. The concert will feature the Agnus Dei Ministry, a roster of young Christian musicians, and artist Paul Christopher. It will be an exciting night of praise, worship, and song using voice, brush, and hearts. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth under 18. They can be purchased at the Shrine’s gift shop or at the door on the night of the concert.
To continue the joy of the Marian Shrine's rebirth on Sunday, Salesian Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez Maradiaga, SDB, of Honduras will lead the 11:00 a.m. EST Eucharist with a rededication and blessing of the Mary Help of Christians Chapel followed by a celebratory luncheon. All are welcome.
Additionally, please save the dates for a Lenten Retreat Day and sessions on "Jesus: the Way, the Truth, and the Life."
