By Fr. Jim Heuser, SDB, President, Salesian High School

(New Rochelle, NY – February 24) – The Salesian community of New Rochelle is pleased to announce the appointment of interim principal Mrs. Cynthia Chambers to the principal position permanently at Salesian High School. After a formal search process that yielded more than 30 applicants, it was the unanimous opinion of all involved that Mrs. Chambers be named principal.

Mrs. Chambers first joined Salesian as a parent when her son entered as a freshman in September 2018. She then joined Salesian as a colleague when she accepted the position of Vice Principal for Academics in 2020, a role she filled for four years before taking up the position of Interim Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.
