(Marrero, LA – November 20) – Every morning, members of the "Oratory" gather together for morning prayer before school. Led by the school’s Assistant Head of Academics, Mr. Benjamin Russo, this group of devoted students and faculty gather together to pray from the Liturgy of the Hours, the official prayer of the Church.

In addition to gathering in the mornings, the Oratory meets every Wednesday evening for Eucharistic adoration and community prayer in Don Bosco Chapel. The group has steadily grown in numbers and is always seeking new members!

Our Catholic faith and Salesian spirituality infuse all that we do at Archbishop Shaw. The Oratory gathering is one of the many aspects one of the many aspects of our daily lives that we're blessed to share.
