Inspiring Resources for Lent 2023

Lenten Resources 2023

By Julia St. Clair, Province Communications Director

(New Rochelle, NY – February 22) – During this Lenten season, there are many ways we can connect with our faith and root ourselves in Christ.

One is by tuning in weekly to episodes of Valdocco: A Salesian Family Podcast each Wednesday. Last year, Valdocco explored a different aspect of Salesian Spirituality discussed in the book Live Today Well written by Fr. Thomas F. Dailey, O.S.F.S. This Lent, the podcast focuses on St. John Paul II's Scriptural Way of the Cross.

Be sure to also visit @salesiansue and @sym_bosco on Instagram for interactive stories and posts.

Additionally, Hallow, the number one Catholic prayer app, has a variety of insightful, easy-to-read resources. They can be accessed and viewed here.

There is also a daily reflection calendar from the USCCB available in English and Spanish. Moreover, the CCCB has documents on "Celebrating the Season of Lent" and "Living Lent."

May God bless and guide us throughout this Lent and draw us closer to Him.
