(New Rochelle, NY – November 20) – This year’s Immaculate Conception Novena will begin on Saturday, November 30. It starts a day later since this year’s Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been moved to Monday, December 9, because December 8, will be the Second Sunday of Advent.
Here is the PDF resource for this year’s novena. The daily prayer was taken from In Dialogue with the Lord. Additionally, Day 1's reading was taken from Spes Non Confundit: Bull of Indiction of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025 by Pope Francis. All other readings are taken from Pope Francis’s general audience on May 10, 2017.
Each day will highlight a different name for Mary that emphasizes a different action/quality/virtue. Everyone is welcome to join in on social media, too, to meditate on the title as they pray the three Hail Marys.
Be sure to visit the province’s Facebook and Instagram stories daily from November 30 to December 8! The novena will also be posted daily to Facebook.
