(New Rochelle, NY – June 17) – From Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, fifty-three participants from 17 locations gathered with 7 team members at Camp Auxilium in Newton, NJ, for the Young Adult Retreat.

The retreat theme was “Planted in the House of the Lord.” Fr. Steve DeMaio and Victoria Weekley gave the introductory and closing talks, while Chioma Okoye, Amy Stockinger, and Bro. Rafael Vargas provided talks on “Need to Encounter Him,” “Remaining Planted in Difficult Times,” and “Rooted in God’s Garden” (respectively).

The retreat provided time for the young adults to participate in Mass, adoration, the sacrament of Reconciliation, talks, personal reflection, small and large group sharing, and community building.
