Ramsey: DBP Junior Shines at GSUMC

DBP Student Math Conference

(Ramsey, NJ – April 3) – On Saturday, March 23, Don Bosco Prep (DBP) junior Thomas MacDougall ’25 showcased his math prowess at the Garden State Undergraduate Mathematics Conference (GSUMC).

During his time at the GSUMC, Thomas competed against undergraduates and placed 19th out of 81 competitors. His poster on the Ballot Problem, guided by Dr. Kowal from Ramapo College, was a hit.

The 2024 GSUMC took place at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ. The day included a talk by Po-Shen Loh from Carnegie Mellon University.
