Port Chester: Immersion in the Life of Bl. Carlo Acutis

Port Chester: Bl. Carlo Event

By Ms. Meg Fraino-Rodriguez, Salesian Cooperator

(Port Chester, NY – May 8) – Last week, St. John Bosco Youth Center hosted Fr. Fabio Vieira to talk about the life of Bl. Carlo Acutis, who is very close to being canonized. The young people listened intently as Fr. Fabio discussed his experience of studying and getting to know the life and family of Bl. Carlo Acutis. They asked insightful questions about becoming a saint and how they could reach for heaven as well!

The Port Chester Salesian Cooperators really enjoyed the talk, as well as the contributions given by the young people. They also provided pizza for the group. At the end of the talk, Fr. Fabio blessed us with one of Bl. Carlo Acutis’ relics.

We are all called to be originals, not photocopies, as Bl. Carlo would exclaim to his family and peers!
