(Port Chester, NY – December 18) – The St. John Bosco Parish community had the wonderful opportunity to host a week of service and fellowship with some alumni from Cristo Rey Tampa (CRT) Salesian High School. A group of six alumni came to spend some time serving in the Don Bosco Community Center Soup Kitchen and Family Closet. During their visit, these alumni animated the middle and high school oratories, visited the Corpus Christi Holy Rosary School, and participated in both parish and SDB community life.

We were very happy to spend some time doing this kind of young adult ministry and building bridges with other works in the province. It was great to see both how well-formed these young men were in Tampa and how they want to continue to grow in their faith and remain close to the Salesian Family.

A words of thanks to Fr. Eddie Chincha for keeping in contact with so many young adults and organizing this event. We hope to continue to find new ways to reach out and accompany more young people like them.
