October Salesian Leadership Retreat

(New Rochelle, NY – October 19) – From Friday, September 29, through Thursday, October 5, 110 representatives from our 5 SDB and 5 FMA schools gathered at the Don Bosco Retreat Center in Stony Point, NY.

There were quite a few things to celebrate this year! During this retreat, we welcomed 18 young team members! The young team led prayer services and witness talks; they also offered hospitality to their peers. We were also blessed to welcome our first young team member from St. Francis de Sales High School in Columbus, OH.

In addition to the regularly scheduled activities, the young team and core team were able to attend the celebration of the province’s jubilees to see the witness of many Salesians who have given their lives to the mission.

We are also grateful to the two core team members who joined us from Canada: Esteban from the Don Bosco Latino Ministry in Montréal and Elijah from St. Benedict Parish in Toronto.

Also, you may notice in the group shot that the young team has a new color for their team shirts!
