New Rochelle: ATA Foundation Awards STEM Scholarships

New Rochelle: Salesian High Stem Scholarship Recipients 2024

By Mr. Randy Taveras, Marketing Coordinator/Business Teacher, Salesian High School

(New Rochelle, NY – October 9) – The Angeles T. Arredondo (ATA) Foundation was founded in 1981; since then it has had a long history of providing merit-based tuition assistance to students. Every year, the foundation awards STEM scholarship prizes to Salesian High School seniors who have achieved the highest average in six of our advanced math, science, and technology courses during their first three years at Salesian.

Recently, the foundation awarded a total of $85,000.00 to three seniors who excelled in science and mathematics.

Bilal Malik, Nikhil Ghose, and Nicholas Albit were the deserving recipients of this prestigious award and were notified at the end of their junior year. The prize money will be applied to their university tuition upon their graduation from Salesian in June of 2025. The school and students are extremely grateful to the ATA Foundation for these annual awards.
