(Orange and Ramsey, N.J. – September 2) – On Monday, August 24, Fr. Ky Nguyen was installed as the new director of the Orange community. He made the Profession of Faith as part of the Rite of Installation, and Provincial Fr. Dominic Tran gave the blessing of Mary Help of Christians.
The following day, Fr. Dominic visited the Ramsey community to install Bro. Tom Dion as the director of both the Ramsey community and Don Bosco Prep High School. He also inducted Genaro Cantú and Luis Márquez into the prenovitiate.
Bro. Tom, who returns to Ramsey after two years at the novitiate in California, is the first Salesian brother to serve as director in the SUE Province.
The prenovices, Genaro (from Dallas) and Luis (from Chicago), will spend the coming year attending classes in Salesianity and running activities at the high school.
