(New Rochelle, NY – March 21) – From Friday, March 8, through Monday, March 11, the core and young teams gathered to prepare for the Salesian Leadership Retreat (SLR). It took place from Monday, March 11, through Thursday, March 14, at the Don Bosco Retreat Center in Stony Point, NY.
A total of 111 Salesian Family members—including team members, adult chaperones, and participants—were a part of the SLR. Ms. Victoria Weekley (program director) and Fr. Steve DeMaio (chaplain and young team coordinator) have continued to revise different program moments to ensure the SLR remains current and applicable to young people.
Thank you to all the teams and adult chaperones, who made this program a beautiful time!
