CANADA: SR. PAULINE COSSETTE, FMA, AGELESS EVANGELIZER!

by Fr. Richard Authier SDB

(Montreal – February 14) – Sister Pauline Cossette is a sister who is a member of the FMA Laura Vicuña community in Montreal. At the respectable age of 77, she is really an “ageless evangelizer.” She is pictured here animating a mini-retreat for the catechism children of Missione Maria Ausiliatrice Parish, formerly administered by the SDBs. She uses the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd approach. The kids enthuse about the retreats and really learn to love Jesus and Mary.

More than that, during the summer, Sr. Pauline offers catechism to the smallest children of Happy Days Summer Camp, organized by the Don Bosco Youth Leadership Centre of Montreal. Again, she’s a kind and enthusiastic preacher of the “Good News,” for which the Salesian Family of Montreal is most grateful to her and prays Jesus and Mary grant her a long and healthy life for the sake of the young!
