(New Rochelle, NY – October 18) –
From Thursday, October 7 to Sunday, October 10, 11 SDB priests gathered for their ongoing formation event known as Quinquennium. Fr. Joseph Nguyen, director of novices and provincial delegate for formation of the San Francisco Province, and Fr. Dominic Tran, vice provincial and delegate for formation of the New Rochelle Province, accompanied the group.

The Sisters Daughters of St. Mary of Providence (DSMP), founded by St. Louis Guanella, hosted the SDB priests at the Sisters' provincial center in Chicago. During Quinquennium, the SDB priests gathered to share and reflect on their lives and ministries as they focused on their prayer lives as Salesian priests.

There were moments of comradery and fellowship, as well as visits to the local SDB community and the two Salesian parishes in Chicago, St. James and St. John Bosco.
