TWO DEACONS ORDAINED FOR NEW ROCHELLE PROVINCE

Deacon Ordination

(Chicago – June 4) – The Salesian Family gives thanks to God for two new Salesian deacons ordained on Saturday, June 2. Brothers Eduardo Alberto Chincha and Juan Pablo Rubio were admitted to holy orders for the New Rochelle Province by Cardinal Blase Cupich, archbishop of Chicago, at St. John Bosco Parish in Chicago.

In addition to the local parishioners and family members of the newly ordained, the event was celebrated by members of the Salesian Cooperators from Orange, N.J., lay collaborators from Tampa, Fr. Timothy Zak, provincial, members of the provincial council, and confreres from the San Francisco Province. We accompany the newly ordained transition deacons in their new role of service to the Church.

They have been studying theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary in South Orange, N.J.
