(Etobicoke, ON – December 10) – The Salesian Cooperators from Mary Help of Christians Centre in Toronto recently welcomed with great joy a new member. Deacon Diego Maratta made his Salesian Cooperator promise to live out his diaconate in the charism of Don Bosco, with a commitment to serve youth. Following two years of formation, guided by delegate Sr. Alphonsine Roy, Deacon Diego was inducted into the Association of Salesian Cooperators. He made his promise on Sunday, December 8, at 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Benedict Church in Etobicoke. Salesian director Fr. Mario Villaraza presided. The rite was witnessed by Deacon Diego’s sponsor, family, friends, and the parish community.
