(Surrey, BC – June 20) – Greetings from Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) Parish. This June has been full of activities, bringing to completion all the work that was started in the beginning of the scholastic year.
At OGLC, we successfully prepared the Catechism children for Confirmation. As a result of the hard work of the Catechists and the teachers, 76 children were confirmed on Monday, June 19.
Archbishop Michael Miller, DD, of Vancouver had graciously consented to celebrate the Holy Eucharist and confirm 76 candidates of OLGC Parish. The church was packed with children, their parents, and parishioners. The ceremony started at 7:00 pm PT and ended at 8:30 pm PT, though it rained all through the evening as a sign of showers of blessings from above.
