Stony Point: National Shrine Holds Women’s Retreat

Stony Point Women's Retreat 2026

By Jennifer Passerino, Salesian Family

(Stony Point, N.Y. – September 2) – This past weekend, the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians welcomed over 50 women for its third annual Women’s Retreat. This year’s “Be It Done unto Me” retreat focused on the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-11), “Do whatever He tells you.”

The three-day weekend included group sharing, praise and worship, Mass, and personal reflection. Hosted by the National Shrine’s director Fr. Manny Gallo and coordinator Fr. Pat Angelucci, the themed talks focused on the seven sacraments and how they help us grow spiritually by focusing on the story of Cana.

What a beautiful weekend experience for these women, who together celebrated their faith and were spiritually renewed! Please continue to pray for all those who participated in this women's retreat.

Save the dates for next year’s women's retreat, which will be August 27-29, 2027.
