Sherbrooke: Le Salésien Students Take a Service Trip to Mexico

Le Salesien Mission Trip 2026

By Fr. Alain Léonard, SDB

(Sherbrooke, QC – March 4) – They made it! Twenty-four young Salesians from Le Salésien in Sherbrooke, along with their chaperones, flew to Mexico City on Tuesday, February 24. They will join their friends in Mexico for a 10-day stay with 22 at-risk boys residing at the Salesian Boarding School, Casa de Nazareth. After Mass and the sending forth celebration, they will be called upon to be signs and bearers of God's love to the most vulnerable.

May God's blessing accompany them as they strive to be attentive to the suffering of others and alleviate it through concrete acts of friendship and by strengthening the self-esteem of those they serve.
