SDBs Celebrate Thanksgiving in New Rochelle

Thanksgiving in New Rochelle

By Fr. Mike Mendl, SDB

(New Rochelle, NY – November 25) – To celebrate the American feast of Thanksgiving, the New Rochelle SDB community gathered for the Eucharist and a great banquet prepared by the province treasurer, Chef Fr. Mike Conway, and other confreres. They were joined by confreres serving in nearby parishes. The first American Thanksgiving was celebrated at Plymouth, MA, exactly 400 years ago.
