(New Rochelle, N.Y. – August 12) – On Saturday, August 15, the feast of the Assumption of Mary, Bros. Carlos Cerda, Jieo Tecson, and Lorenzo D’Alessandro, SDBs, will renew their vows at morning prayer at the National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Stony Point, N.Y. Bro. Nicholas Jandernoa, SDB, will renew his vows in Ecuador, where he is currently.
That same day at 10:00 a.m., Novices Francis Chazhikattu and Tim Hughes will make their first professions as Salesians of Don Bosco in the Shrine’s Mary Help of Christians Chapel. All are welcome to come and bear witness to Francis and Tim’s first vows.
For anyone who would like to join but isn’t able to make it, there is an option to livestream the first professions on the day of the event. All are welcome to tune in via the National Shrine’s YouTube channel or by logging on to the National Shrine’s website. The livestream at the top of the website.
Please pray for soon-to-be Bros. Francis and Tim, Bros. Carlos, Jieo, Lorenzo and Nicholas, all our men in formation, as well as for vocations to both the Salesian life and the Salesian Family.
