(New Rochelle, NY – January 25) – The Salesian Family had significant representation at SEEK, which took place from January 1-5. Twenty-three members of the family—including priests, a brother, sisters, returned SLMs, past pupils, and lay colleagues—attended the event to spread the Salesian charism and mission.

SEEK is an annual conference organized by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) that gathers young adults from across the country. There were over 20,000 people in attendance at this year’s conference in St. Louis with an additional 4,000 people who joined the Adoration night.

The Salesian Family reserved two booth spaces, which promoted the charism, vocation to religious life, and various groups of the Salesian Family, Salesian Lay Missioner program, and VIDES. As an optional activity, the Salesian Family booth provided a space for young adults to write down their dreams during this year of the Dream of Nine. In addition to meeting new friends, we were also able to reconnect with alumni from Don Bosco Cristo Rey, Cristo Rey Tampa, Academy of Our Lady, Immaculata-La Salle, and Mary Help of Christians Academy.
