Salesian Old Boys Reunite in Philadelphia

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia with the Salesian Old Boys

By Jim Howe

(Philadelphia, PA – October 31) – For the 18th event since 2004 (and having skipped 2020 due to Covid-19), members of the Salesian Old Boys met for a weekend gathering in Philadelphia. Fr. Mike Mendl joined us for dinner and fellowship the evening of Saturday, October 29, and Fr. Tim Ploch said Mass on Sunday, October 30, where we also celebrated Deacon Steve and Claire Letourneaux's 30th wedding anniversary.

Along with 12 spouses and partners, 31 "SOBs" enjoyed the historical and artistic sights of the City of Brotherly Love and probably enjoyed a cheesesteak or two. We also added to our annual Br. Gene Mylan Charitable Fund to help the Salesians in Port Chester begin an oratory-like program.
