Ramsey: Annual A Cappella Festival to Return

DBP A Cappella Concert

(Ramsey, NJ – January 10) – Now in its 16th Season, Chapel Concerts at Don Bosco Prep (DBP) presents its Annual High School and Collegiate A Cappella Festival on Saturday evening, January 28, at 7:30 pm ET in DeSales Auditorium. The snow date will be on Sunday, January 29, at 2:00 pm ET. Three high school a cappella groups will participate, including Ramsey High School’s Ramjams, Mary Help of Christians Salesian Singers, and DBP’s own group. As hosts, the DBP chorus will begin the concert singing an a cappella arrangement of the National Anthem, followed by an arrangement of "My Girl." Collegiate groups include Fairfield’s Bensonians and Sweet Harmony, as well as Marist’s Time Check, Enharmonics, and Lovely Sirens.

Each group performs two selections and then all groups come together for a grand finale singing Journey’s "Don’t Stop Believin.'"

“This is the first time we are back in person for this festival since the pandemic, and everyone is so excited to come together again," Artistic Director of Chapel Concerts Toni Bilotti Cecere remarked. "This is such a fun night of camaraderie and inspiration. Everyone who comes leaves uplifted and rejuvenated! And who doesn’t love a cappella?"
