(Port Chester, NY – January 29) – The Salesians at St. John Bosco Parish in Port Chester would like to highlight some of its activities that have occurred this past winter. After celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe, we celebrated “El Señor de Esquipulas,” one of the most important feast days for Catholics in Guatemala. We had a Mass animated by a Guatemalan choir and a reception with a folkloric dance after. Following a similar format of celebration to our Guatemalan feast, we celebrated "Nuestra Senora de Altagracia," a very important devotion to our brothers and sisters from the Dominican Republic. We also had a Christmas outing for our teens and a Christmas party for altar servers.

Our parish has a beautiful tradition of welcoming people from many cultures and fostering an environment where they can enrich our parish with their many devotions.
