Port Chester: A Summer of Learning and Fun

Port Chester Summer Camp 2024

By Mr. Jerry Rodriguez, Executive Director, Don Bosco Community Center

(Port Chester, NY – July 30) – The Don Bosco Summer Day Camp 2024 season began on Monday, July 29. This is a vibrant program that serves 100 children from the Port Chester community and provides them with access to quality educational support, enrichment, and recreational activities. Thanks to the generous fundraising efforts of the Don Bosco Community Center, the camp is financially accessible to all parents and ensures that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The Don Bosco Summer Day Camp runs five days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST, for five weeks. It offers a well-rounded experience that includes STEM classes, recreational activities, and much more. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are committed to creating an engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow. We couldn't be happier to see the joy and enthusiasm on the faces of our campers. This camp not only helps children thrive during the summer months but also gives them a head start for the upcoming school year.

At Don Bosco, we believe in nurturing the growth of children year-round. Our commitment extends beyond the school year; we are here to support their educational and personal development throughout the entire year.

We look forward to another fantastic summer of learning, exploration, and fun at the Don Bosco Summer Day Camp 2024!
