(Port Chester, NY – March 7) – Port Chester Salesian Cooperators gathered with St. John Bosco Parish’s Valdocco Youth Ministry team on Monday, March 4, at the youth center in Corpus Christi School to celebrate Women’s History Month with a talk about Mother Cabrini’s life. Fr. Joe Vien (SDB Delegate for Salesian Cooperators in Port Chester), Emily Maldonado (Salesian Cooperator), and Lucas Gemio (Cooperator aspirant) led the group. Mike DeNobile (Salesian Cooperator) gave a reflection on the life of Mother Cabrini. The Cooperators will sponsor and accompany the teens to the movies this weekend to watch Cabrini.

Everyone learned about how St. Frances Cabrini prayed hard, accepted difficulties, and stayed humble. The community is committed to collaborate on those three things for the rest of Lent so that everyone can work together towards Salesian sanctity.
