Orange: Men in Formation Graduate from Seton Hall

Orange Graduations

(Orange, NJ – May 22) – The graduation for those receiving master's degrees (Dcn. Ky) and certificates (Br. John) took place on Wednesday, May 18, at the Basilica Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ. Br. Kevin graduated with the rest of the undergraduates from Seton Hall on Tuesday, May 24, at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.

Br. Kevin White, SDB

Br. Kevin White is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Catholic Theology & Philosophy from Seton Hall University. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was recently inducted as a member of the Theta Alpha Kappa Theology Honors Society. Br. Kevin will be moving to the Salesian community of Marrero, Louisiana at the end of June to be a religion teacher at Archbishop Shaw High School.

Br. John Castonguay, SDB

Br. John Castonguay received a certificate in Philosophical Theology from Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. This summer Br. John will be moving to the Salesian community of Washington, D.C. to be a theology teacher at Don Bosco Cristo Rey High School.

Dcn. Ky Nguyen, SDB

Dcn. Ky Nguyen is graduating with a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry and a Master of Arts in Theology. Dcn. Ky received the Mary, Seat of Wisdom Award for Graduate Honors. The Mary, Seat of Wisdom Award honors students for outstanding achievement in Graduate Theological Studies. On Saturday, May 28, Dcn. Ky will be ordained to the priesthood at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Orange, NJ. Then, later this summer Fr. Ky will be moving to the Salesian community of Marrero, LA to be a religion teacher at Archbishop Shaw High School and the financial administrator of the Salesian community.
