(Orange, NJ – March 18) – The men in formation from Orange have been having a very productive March. They spent the first week of the month in different Salesian communities throughout the province. Two of the men went to Chicago, while others journeyed to Tampa and Marrero. Additionally, one of them spent some time in Ramsey.

These men in formation joined in the communities' day-to-day activities and met with Salesians, lay collaborators, and young people.

Bro. Nicholas Jandernoa, who visited Tampa, said he enjoyed how friendly the school community and the students were. He was also very impressed by the financial support and guidance that the school provides for students to help them continue their education and career, even providing help for all four years of college.

Bro. Jieo Tecson visited the community in Chicago. He shared that his favorite experience was meeting the young people and young adults.

Bro. Christo Philistin, who went to Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, exclaimed that he truly enjoyed teaching theology and playing basketball after school.

I visited Archbishop Shaw in Marrero. My favorite part was encountering a warm and welcoming school community and partaking of their annual seafood festival. It was truly a unique experience that only New Orleans can offer.

The Salesian fun and joy continued after the men returned home to New Jersey. Last Thursday, March 12, Seton Hall University’s campus ministry team hosted a religious life vocation panel. Bro. Nicholas and I, as well as Sr. Guerline Joseph, FMA, represented the Salesian Family.
