Prayer Intention for October 11-17, 2019
This week, please keep in your prayers Salesian Lay Missioner Abbie Nolan and all those she will be serving. Abbie was commissioned for service in Cambodia. Her hometown is Mahopac, N.Y., and she is an alumna of Saint Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H.
What do you expect to do on mission?
“Teach English”
Why have you joined the Salesian Lay Missioner program and/or what do you hope to accomplish through your SLM mission?
“Through my role as an SLM in Cambodia, I will try my best to create an empowering environment where students may cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. By journeying with them in this process, I pray that I may better come to understand myself and my place in the world, as well.”
