(Port Chester, NY – January 29) – On Saturday, January 25, three new Salesian Cooperators made their promises at St. John Bosco Parish.

Jimmy Smith, Karen Francella, and Lucas Gemio were inducted during the 4:00 p.m. Mass. Fr. Tom Dunne, SDB, celebrated the Mass; Fr. Joe Vien, SDB, prepared Jimmy, Karen, and Lucas during their formation. A festive dinner celebration followed the Mass.

A long-time parishioner, Jimmy is currently the sacristan at St. John Bosco Parish and helps with many other activities. Karen is a CCD teacher and also an active member of the parish. Lucas grew up in the area and leads the youth group. His father and girlfriend are also Salesian Cooperators.

God bless Jimmy, Karen, and Lucas, along with all our Salesian Cooperators, Salesian community in Port Chester, and our entire Salesian Family!
