New Rochelle: Salesian High Students Visit Italy

New Rochelle: Salesian High In Italy

By Mr. Randy Taveras ’15, Marketing Coordinator and Teacher, Salesian High School

(New Rochelle, NY – April 24) – Twenty-two Salesian High school students recently went to Italy. They were led by the assistant principal, Mrs. Cynthia Chambers, and learning needs instructor, Mrs. Correale.

The journey began at Valdocco, which is the birthplace of Don Bosco's legacy for youth. The students also visited the Catacombs of St. Callistus in Rome, a significant site under the care of the Salesians. The trip allowed the students to follow in the footsteps of Don Bosco, learn more about the Salesian culture, and connect deeply with our mission.
