(Montreal, QC – December 17) – Grace Mascarinas and Dindo Miras made their promise as Salesian Cooperators on Sunday, December 7, at Our Lady of the Philippines Parish in Montreal. The celebration took place on the parish feast day, under the patronage of the Immaculate Conception, adding special significance to the occasion.

The church was filled with parishioners, who had gathered to celebrate their parish feast and who prayerfully witnessed this important moment in the life of the Salesian Family.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the parish priest, Fr. Rommel Cruz, and concelebrated by two Salesians of Don Bosco: Fr. Richard Authier, delegate of the Salesian Cooperators of Maria Ausiliatrice, and Fr. Luc Lantagne, director of the Salesian Community in Montreal. Fr. Richard formally received the promises in the presence of the local coordinator, Rosa D’Addario.

The ceremony was enriched by the presence and prayerful support of several Salesian Cooperators from the Maria Ausiliatrice and Ste-Claire centres, as well as by the presence of two Daughters of Mary Help of Christians. Their participation highlighted the spirit of family and communion that characterizes the Salesian charism.

The community rejoices with Grace and Dindo as they begin this new chapter of their vocation, entrusting their commitment to Mary, the Immaculate Conception and Help of Christians, and praying that they may remain faithful witnesses of Don Bosco’s mission in the Church and in the world.

After Grace and Dindo made their promise, all Salesian Cooperators present were invited to renew their own promise, reaffirming together their commitment to live the Salesian vocation in the spirit of Don Bosco and thereby marking a memorable and grace-filled moment in the life of the Salesian Family.
