Montréal: DBLM Experiences Spiritual Retreat at Magog Lake

Montreal DBLM Retreat

By Fr. Tito Iannaccio, SDB

(Montréal, QC – June 26)
 – The Don Bosco Latino Riviere des Prairies Ministry, Montréal, also known as "DBLM," lived a youth spiritual retreat at Magog Lake from Friday, June 16, through Sunday, June 18. A total of 37 participants, 13 of which were young adults, completed the ESCOGE program and the rest the EJE ABIERTO (15-17) cycle.

Although the weather was unpleasant and rainy, the experience was successful. There were moments of reflection, Salesian formation, Adoration, and celebrations of the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist.

A team of lay adults, parents, and four youth animators was in charge of the organization and execution of these days of encounter and spirituality. The presence of five priests, one of them Fr. Branden Gordon, who was recently ordained, accompanied this fully Salesian initiative. Three participants of this year's YAR of the previous week transmitted depth and Salesianity to the meeting.
