(Tampa, Fla. – June 9) – Fr. Steve Ryan and the young staff around him in this photo have accepted nearly 300 youths for the first week of the six-week camp season at Mary Help of Christians Center.  Founded in 1936, the camp’s activities include the use of East Lake for water skiing and boating, swimming and splashing in a large outdoor pool, horseback riding, crafts, and a daily chapel period.  To celebrate July 4, they host a Independence Day parade of lights using watercraft on the lake.
