"How Good God Is!"

Stephane Bürgi and family

Reflections from Sherbrooke, QC

For me, being pro-life first means seeing the world through the eyes of faith. As mentioned in Genesis, “And God saw that it was all very good.” Everything that exists (overall creation) is good and full of value. I am fortunate to be a father of five children. The value of life became evident each time my wife told me she was pregnant. I deeply believe that this feeling of attachment lives in the heart of every man and woman, even though it is sometimes buried under fears or wounds. So, for me, being pro-life means trying to do my part in society overall to help everyone who is expecting a child. I do all that I can to ensure they receive the support and encouragement necessary to be able to experience the feeling of attachment and love for life. Therefore, being pro-life means being committed to respecting creation and, more particularly, the development of each human person, in all phases of their existence.
