"He Trusted in God's Plan"

Devotion to St. Joseph has always played an important part in my life. Attending a Salesian school and being a brother strengthened this devotion and allowed it to grow. Joseph was a man of faith, love, and trust. Scripture says Joseph was a just man, but he was also a good man who loved Mary. When he found out she was with child, the news must have devastated him. Yet he trusted in God’s plan and took Mary as his wife. He provided for Mary and Jesus and taught Jesus how to be a good, faithful, and loving man.

During this Year of St. Joseph, I pray that, through his intercession, the world is blessed with better and holy people like Joseph that trust in God and strive to do the good and right thing.
