Etobicoke: A Birthday Party for Jesus

(Etobicoke, ON – December 20) – On Sunday, December 18, St. Benedict Parish's children’s liturgy team hosted a birthday party for Jesus after the 11:00 am ET Mass for all participants and their families.

Among Jesus were special guests Mary and Joseph, portrayed by Lotis and Austin. Children sang along with songs such as "Come, Lord Jesus," "Mary Did You Know," "Go Tell It on the Mountain," and "Happy Birthday." Upon their departure, the children received packaged treats and keepsake gifts that included a small Baby Jesus and a Christmas book.

It was a beautiful, joyful event. Thank you to everyone who helped in putting the party together and to all the families that attended!
