(Etobicoke, ON – November 22) – The Knights of Columbus local council inaugurated a youth sports program at St. Benedict Parish. The program, which started in October, takes place on Sunday afternoons in the parish parking lot. The goal is to get youth involved and build a relationship between the Columbian Squires and Knights of Columbus. While hosting a sports activity like ball hockey, youth can hear the word of God from spiritual directors while simultaneously having fun and building good relationships. It is also an opportunity to have youth engage in much needed social interaction with others as we slowly come out of the pandemic. Right out of Don Bosco’s playbook "Run, jump, play, but do not sin," the Salesian oratory is at work and play in Etobicoke.
