Edmonton Religious Appreciation Dinner

(Edmonton, AB – May 16) – Last month, approximately 132 people got together to celebrate the religious in their community. There was great joy as Archbishop Sylvain Lavoie OMI opened the evening with grace. With two cakes for the occasion, Rev. Jim Corrigan, Vicar General for Archbishop Richard Smith, cut one, and Sr. Mary Dolores cut the other. The 11 pastors, religious, and deacons with their wives dispersed amongst the sixteen tables of attendees present to enjoy fellowship and a scrumptious meal of ham, turkey, potatoes, gravy, salad, buns, and cake. One pastor had to leave before we took the group photo. What a magnificent event to honor our pastors and servants in the vineyard of God's Kingdom.
